Stroopwafel currently is developing the minor skills of an exotic mix. None of these riders will become international superstars, but that's okay, we simply like them and we're in no hurry.
Lacina Ba: training to be a good windbreaker, nothing more, nothing less. He already holds the jersey for best rider of his nation. If a national team is ever formed, he'll be ready.
Lu Zhe: training to be a very good pave pacer. Already made his debut in the national team in a climbing race and witnessed the first World Tour points ever scored by Macau.
Zimmermann Tom: training to be an average team mate/hill sprinter. Hired to cause confusion in peloton & press about his name. Only friends may call him Zimmy. He calls the team car 'ground control'.
* breaking news: a fourth trainee might be on the way, a Malaysian sprinter

You know how much a 50+ trainee costs?! I hope they all max at 37.
A nice melting pot, you could end up with weirdly built team. I hope you're rewarded with an average 50 plus trainee. Good luck.
Yep, it's an approach I wouldn't recommend if you haven't got a captain for many years to come already :).
My team can't do that due to a small cash flow. My rule is that the rider has to have captain potential, even if its minimal, because 90% percent of the time it will end up as a team mate any way. Good luck...
